// add-on

Your clients register. Their family pays for the session.

Expecting families get onesies they'll outgrow in a month. Give them the other option — a private page on your site where relatives put money toward the session they actually want. It turns a $1,500 decision into eleven people giving $150.

$250 reg. $499 ON SALE

Built into your existing site, in your own colors and typefaces. Not a third-party service with someone else's branding and a cut of every gift — this is your software, on your domain, connected to your own Stripe and PayPal accounts. Every dollar lands in your bank, not a platform's.

Your client builds their page in about five minutes: a photo, a few sentences, and the sessions they're hoping for. They get one private link to share. You get an email every time someone gives, and a dashboard showing who owes what.

// five-minute walkthrough

Watch it work, end to end.

A client builds a registry, family gives, and the credit lands where you book. No slides — this is the live system running in my own studio.

// what it looks like

Yours, not a platform's.

These are real pages from a live studio installation. Your version carries your palette, your typefaces, and your session menu.

A client's registry page with their photo and story

The client's page. Their photo, their words, their due date. This is what gets texted to the family group chat — and it looks like your work, because it is.

A session with its funding meter, showing the amount given so far

The session, funding. A grandmother can cover it outright. Four cousins can split it. The remaining balance recalculates itself, so the ask always feels reachable.

Fifteen screens in all — the builder, the passcode gate, the contribution modal, the three emails, and the dashboard.

// why it books sessions

The price stops being the obstacle.

A family deciding whether to spend $2,100 on newborn photos says "let's see." A family whose relatives have already put $1,400 toward it books the date.

Higher // average booking

Clients choose the package they actually want rather than the one they can afford alone. Gold instead of Silver, because eleven people are splitting it.

Earlier // booking window

Registries go out with shower invitations, which means clients commit to you in the second trimester instead of calling from the hospital.

New // referral surface

Every registry link lands in front of dozens of relatives — most of them women in the same season of life, seeing your work with a warm introduction.

// how it runs

Four moving parts, none of them yours to manage.

01

Client builds their page

From a page on your site. Photo, story, and the sessions they're hoping for, chosen from your real price list.

02

They share one link

Group text, shower invitation, however they like. Hidden from search engines, with a passcode if their news isn't public.

03

Family gives

Card or PayPal, straight into your account. Everyone gets a receipt; your client gets a note with each name and message.

04

You book the session

The balance applies when they're ready. Short of the goal, the credit still applies and they pay the difference.

// before we start

What you'll need on your side.

Nothing exotic, and most studios already have two of the three. I'll walk you through anything that's missing.

A Stripe or PayPal account

Ideally both, so givers can choose. Money moves directly into your account on your normal payout schedule — I never touch it. Their standard processing fees apply, roughly 3%.

A domain you control

The registry lives at a subdomain of your site, like registry.yourstudio.com. If your DNS is somewhere awkward, I'll sort it — that's part of the install.

Your session menu and prices

Send me your current price list and I'll build it in. Prices change later? It's a two-minute edit, and I'll show you how to do it yourself.

Running costs after the build are near zero — the database and hosting sit on free tiers that a photography studio's volume will not exceed, and email is free up to 3,000 sends a month. Budget nothing monthly; if you outgrow it, it's about $25.

// the fine print, up front

Questions worth answering before you buy.

How long does the install take?

Five to seven business days from the moment you send your price list and connect your payment accounts. Most of that is your approval, not my build time.

What if a registry isn't fully funded?

The credit applies to whatever the client books and they pay the difference. Nothing is refunded and nothing expires. That policy is written into the pages and the emails — change the wording any time.

Is this a gift certificate legally?

In most states a prepaid balance like this is treated as one, which usually means it can't carry an expiration date. The build ships with no expiry language for that reason. Worth ten minutes with your accountant on how to book the deferred revenue — the money arrives before you deliver the session.

Do you take a cut of the gifts?

No. There is no per-registry fee, no percentage, and no monthly charge from me. You pay once for the build; the software is yours.

Does it work with Squarespace, Showit, WordPress?

Yes. The registry runs on its own and embeds into a page on your existing site, so it doesn't matter what your site is built with.

What if I need changes later?

Price and copy edits I'll show you how to make yourself. New features are quoted separately — ask and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth doing.

// terms

A custom build, so all sales are final.

Please read this before you buy rather than after. I'd far rather answer a question first than take money from someone this isn't right for.

No refunds

This is bespoke work built for your studio — your palette, your typefaces, your session menu, wired to your own payment accounts. Once the build begins that time can't be resold, so purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Buying is your agreement to that.

Ask before you buy

If you're unsure whether this fits your site, your platform, or the way you sell sessions, email me first. I'll tell you honestly if the answer is no — that costs me a sale and saves us both a bad week.

What I need from you

Your session list, access to connect your payment accounts, and whatever's needed to point a subdomain. If those don't arrive, the build waits. I'll chase you twice and then leave it open until you're ready.

What's not included

Processing fees from Stripe and PayPal, and any paid tiers you choose to move to later. Ongoing feature work beyond the build is quoted separately. Price and copy edits you can make yourself — I'll show you how.

// add it to your studio

$250 today, once.

Regularly $499. Installed on your site, connected to your accounts, tested with a live payment before you launch. Tell me what you photograph and I'll tell you honestly whether this will earn its cost back.
